A Freshers’ Day celebration in any college is an event that a student eagerly awaits from their time of admission. The purpose of freshers’ day celebration is to welcome new students into a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally unite to celebrate being part of the college.
On 17th November 2021 the freshers’ day was organized in Yathri hall at 10.00 am. Through a prayer a song God’s grace was invoked by the students. The program was inaugurated by lighting lamp by the Chief Guest Mr Vinod Kumar K P, Sub-inspector of police, Badiadka Police Station and the other dignitaries on the dais. The welcome dance added colour to the program. The Principal Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo welcomed the gathering. The Chief guest addressed the students and urged them to follow a right path to build a successful life. Rev. Fr. Stanny Periera, the correspondent of the institution delivered the presidential address. Mr. Vincent DSouza, the vice principal proposed the vote of thanks. Br. Denzil Rodrigues, the teaching staff and all the students were present for the program. The program was compeered by Fathimath Liya 3rd BCom and Ashiq 2nd BBA.
The seniors exhibited manifold talents by their stunning performance and melodious voices. Games were organized to make the event more interesting and lively. The event was concluded with National anthem.
