Seven days NSS Camp of Unit No: 77 of St Mary’s College Bela held at GHS Soorambail from 20th December 2024 TO 26th December 2024.48 volnteers participated in the camp.the volunteers arrived the camp site on 20th December 2024,at 5PM.The camp inauguration was done by Mr.Subbannna Alva,president puthige grama panchayath on 21st December 2024,college correspondent V.Rev.Fr.Stany Pereira,presided over the gathering.College Principal Rev.Dr.Rocky Ravi Fernandes, vice principal Mr.Vincent Dsouza,NSS PO’s Mrs.Juliana Crasta,Mr.Ravindra Pai,Mrs.Vidhya Kumari were present over the gathering.
Eminent personalities enriched the students on personality development,improving communication skills and developing leadership qualities.students cleansed the school surroundings,Soorambail Town and made a beautiful garden at the camp site. To bring awareness among local community students conducted a rally stating the importance of sustainable development.
The camp came to an end with the valedictory ceremony on 26th December 2024,Mr.Vincent D’souza,Vice Principal presided over the gathering along with Mrs.Sunith HM GHS Soorambail,Adv.Thomas Dsouza ,NSS Programme officers,faculties and NSS volunteers.The camp was conducted smoothly by the constant support of HM & Staffs of GHS Soorambail, management ,Principal &staffs of the college, club members, sponsers and well wishers as well as the Local community.
